Gas Station Canopies: Universal Structure's Quality Construction Methods Gas Station Canopies manufactured by Universal Structures are made from the finest materials available. The structure includes: Columns which are ASTM carbon steel square or round structural tubes coated with rust-inhibitive primer. Main Cross Beams and Roof Purlins are of high tensile steel, roll-formed. Wide flange or plate girders can be used in large spans or heavy roof loads. Drainage methods include standard internal column drains and center gutters; external downspouts and center gutters; drains at the perimeter of the canopy or perimeter gutters with PVC internal downspouts, coupling 4" above the plate. Decking and Trim Material are all first quality materials ordered directly from the steel mills. Gas Station Canopies are complete bolt-together "Lego" systems for easy installation by the novice owner or experienced erector. In most cases, there is no field welding needed. We take great pride in the craftsmanship that goes into each of our products; from engineering to fabrication to installation. All of our people involved have many years of experience. We simply will not put out a product that is not of the highest quality in both materials and workmanship. Gas Station Canopies by Universal Structures offers a one-year (1) guarantee on canopy products of its manufacture to be free of defects in materials, leaks and workmanship for one year from the date of shipment. In addition to that, all of our steel is guaranteed for five years. Gas Station Canopies are designed and engineered by Universal Structure to withstand the toughest elements - even during the hurricanes of 2004, not one of our canopies came down.
